Change your perspective: Spread the love.

I'm slowly starting to realize that giving my readers an opportunity to taste the essence of my thoughts and views on life isn't as scary as I thought it would be. I'm not a very people person. I find it quite difficult to just put myself out there. But, I'm slowly paving my way out of my comfort zone. "love" and "hate", they don't seem like much. They are just four letter words. Yet, there is so much meaning behind these two words. Have you ever wondered why? It's not those eight letters from the twenty six. But, the feeling of happiness, joy and the untold stories that take shelter behind these words.

If we really think about it, we build our relationships based on love and hate. If you love someone, you'll find yourself a friend and if you hate someone you will have one less person to love. I've hated, loved and have had people love and hate on me. It isn't a sin. But, wouldn't it be so much better if we could have this dark entity which flow through our veins and slowly feeds on the light that is left in us to be replaced with the desire to love and be loved? It's human nature to hate. But, it's also human nature to love, care and respect. Love, even if we're not loved back, be kind, share. Some say that a smile can heal. Well, if our smiles would have never faded, we wouldn't have had anything to heal. It isn't too late.

Next time you see someone as you walk by, smile. Spread the love. Old, young, rich or poor share the magic of love. It's only when you let numbers define who you are, you become less of who you really are. Don't let go of the power of love, hold on to it. Because, one day you'll have a great story to tell. You wouldn't need the help of your debit cards to hold on to your most valuable possession. All you need is a good heart. We have all hated. But, that's alright. Give them a chance because you'll never know who will end up giving you one. So, stop hating and start spreading the love. Because once you do, look over your shoulders and you'll see what love has helped you gain :)
